The Panic Mobb of today used to be an organizaton consiting of CMG(Criminal Mnded Gangstaz) and PANIC
in 2002.
CMG was a creation produced in march of that year by Korry Shepard and Marvin Dunner. They were
sucessful in recruting five other members :Deandre Davis, Joshua Brown(who was doing beats at the time), Jeremy Morland, Jovhan
Hayes, and Black. The group never got anything done, but continued to hold out hope for studio time. Marvin moved
to Chicago before anything was done, leaving Korry to decide CMG's fate.
PANIC was a group that was formed by Angelo Taylor, and Dominique Howard in junior high as a duo.
They got Marice Battle, Saul Reyes, and J-Black later.
The group did songs but didn't have a producer and never put out an album.
In August of 2002 Angelo heard about the beats Korry was doing and he aproached him about doing a few for
the cd PANIC wanted to do. Preocupied with getting tracks done for CMG, he agreed to throw them a couple tracks.
Thats when Live Or Die In E.C. was created. The song wasn't ment to be put on the album (untitled at this point) but
the song became popular and it attracted much needed attention to PANIC and CMG's producers. CMG started growing in
numbers recruting brothers Troy and Joshua Anderson. PANIC also gained new members, Crystal, and Chyna Doll, and
also Chris Riddle who became a trusted sound engeneer for CMG when they were in the studio doing beats.
In September of 2002 PANIC came in the studio while CMG was working on a song. CMG was on the
machines and created a nice beat, and the two groups began a super freestyle session. Then it turned into a recording
session with Angelo, Dominique, Jeremy, Jovhan and Black on the track. While recording a mob of other people came in
the studio feeling the song. Thats when they all decided to do a complation album together to put their name out at
the same time. Thus P.A.N.I.C. Mobb was created, and the song PANIC ANTHEM was a banger. But Black(CMG) felt
he wasn't getting the respect due to him, so he left the group and went with BloodRush (now 90 Proof), who was in the middle
of breaking apart.
Time went on and more was done with both of the groups working as one cranking out song after
song. P.A.N.I.C. Mobb was now the most known and the most hated, under constant pressure from hataz. Then
tension rose between the mobb and another rap group tring to come up also: the Harbor Unibombas(H.U.B.). They started
the beef with a freestyle Soulja-D made in the presence of Troy and Jeremy. So the mobb came back with a track done
by Joshua Brown. Sircumstances were starting to get to the mobb, the main producer Korry moved to Gary, leaving
unfinished work and beats. The fued escalated when A-lo and Soulja-D got into a fight. Harbor Unibombaz came back with
a song dissing P.A.N.I.C. Mobb again. The beef has mixed views now.
Times became hard again. Members left the group feeling like they wern't getting any respect in the
studio. But the Album High School Dayz was completed. It was released at the Indianarap.com website in 2004
by Bobby Castilo. Old were replaced by new members B.D., Heywood, Rushin' Rulet, E Gater, and etc. Original members
are coming back, and the P.A.N.I.C. Mobb movement is still in force.
The new cd, FINAL HOURS is to be released in 2005. PANIC will be featured on 90 Proof's complation
CD that will be released in January 20005. Korry's own complation will be started on in 2005 also with hoped for tracks
with G.I. Jane, Fingeroll, 90 Proof, Low Flow Playaz, and MOET ENTERTAINMENT.
